In the Arctic, Tromsø

Northern Lights, Fjords & feeding reindeer with the Sami people

On February 2024, I went to Norway for 10 days. After visiting Oslo, I went up North in the Arctic and spent a few days in Tromsø from where I had the opportunity to explore the fjords and see the Northern Lights. I was also able to spend some time with the Sami people at their ranch and feed their reindeer.

This article is about the Arctic experiences I tried when I was in Tromsø. Tromsø is the perfect starting place in Northern Norway to explore the Arctic and get to know the nordic culture and incredible nature.

The video I shared on YouTube is divided in 3 parts, each of them showing one of the tours I took. The first one shows the majestic Arctic nature and fjords on the island of Kvaløya, not far from Tromsø. The second part is my experience of seeing the Northern Lights and the third is about the trip to the Sami ranch where we fed reindeer.

Norway is one of my favourite countries in the world. I visited a few times and every time I go, I get completely lost in its magnificent nature!
